New legislation will clearly affect most of our Participants so being prepared for the impact of these is essential! This training clarifies the confusion and mis-information plus delivers advanced training on FCAs, gaining better evidence for Plan Reassessments and writing compelling applications that cover the Reasonable and Necessary Legislation criteria, It also covers how to gain the information to submit ROARDS that are more likely to succeed.
Function Capacity Assessments/Needs Assessments - Controlling the narrative: Working with OT's/Social Workers to get FCAs/Needs Assessments that have all the key things required by NDIS Planners and none of the things that will have it discarded/rejected. Knowing what key words and statements need to be in the recommendations and tying them to the assessments and impact of Participants Disability/Impairment, the importance of budget breakdowns for recommended Core supports, ensuring all areas of funding have been looked at and covered.
Gathering and aligning other reports: Where possible we look at what other reports and recommendations we can find and get completed, learning how to tie them all together in the application is what makes the difference.
Writing stronger Plan Reassessment applications - We walk through what should be included, how to extract the strongest information from supporting reports and how to present the evidence clearly to cover the Reasonable and Necessary criteria, then presenting them in our custom designed template.
Getting things escalated: Learn the best way to get things escalated so they don't sit in a queue for 6 months!
Plan Variations, Participant Requested Plan Reassessments & Reviews of Reviewable Decisions - Confirming what we can submit, how to best assist your Participant with what we cannot, timeframes, processes, new forms and what evidence is needs.
SIL ratio funding reductions and SECP funding cuts - gaining the right evidence to prevent ratio cuts and understanding the correct pathway to have the 50% SECP cut reinstated.
