PLAN VARIATIONS, CHANCE OF CIRCUMSTANCE APPLICATIONS AND PLAN REASSESSMENTS.

To say the current Industry climate is challenging is an understatement! With so many things changing, obtaining additional funding for our Participants is becoming harder and harder.

Are you finding that the applications you are submitting on behalf of Participants are often being turned down?  This live webinar training covers the knowledge you to need to submit Plan Variations, Change of Circumstance Applications and Plan Reassessments that have the best chance of succeeding and obtaining that crucial funding so desperately needed. Learn how to write powerful, correctly worded applications using our specifically designed templates (not just the little box in the NDIS form!)

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Function Capacity Assessments/Needs Assessments - Controlling the narrative:  Working with OT's/Social Workers to get FCAs/Needs Assessments that have all the key things required by NDIS Planners and none of the things that will have it discarded/rejected. Knowing what key words and statements need to be in the recommendations and tying them to the assessments and impact of Participants Disability, the importance of budget breakdowns for recommended Core supports, ensuring all areas of funding have been looked at and covered.

Gathering and aligning other reports: Where possible we look at what other reports and recommendations we can find and get completed, learning how to tie them all together in the application is what makes the difference.

Writing the Applications: Learning what specific things need to be covered, using key words and utlising the key information from the reports and evidence. Presenting them in our custom designed templates to make each area clear and concise - Related to Disability, Related to goals, Value for Money and Risks if not Funded.

Getting things escalated: Learn the best way to get things escalated so they don't sit in a queue for 6 months!

COMBATING NDIS ON "PARENTAL RESPONSBILITY" - "PUBLIC HEALTH RESPONSIBILTY"

The trainers years of dealing with NDIS Planners means an understanding of what they try to use to not fund things. Learn the best way to prove why your Participants Disability and the Impact of their Disability means that NDIS should fund the requested Supports.

COLLABORATION WITH COMMUNITY SUPPORTS AND PUBLIC HEALTH SUPPORTS

Support Coordination to Navigation: With the proposed recommendations it is vital to expand your knowledge and working relationship with Community and Public Health Supports, specifically in areas where our Participants have the greatest risk - Housing and Mental Health. Learn how to create and foster your network within these areas so you can put vital Crisis Plans in place when needed.

SUPPORTING PARTICIPANTS WITH "CHALLENGING PROVIDERS"

At the core of our role, we are there to make sure our Participants are receiving Safe, Quality Supports, and to protect their funding.
