Support Coordination Training Review Although I didn’t need the introductory overview of Support Coordination, I found the training incredibly valuable. It highlighted several updates and changes I wasn’t aware of, and reassured me that I’m on the right track with my current practice. I gained a deeper understanding of the NDIA process, especially around budget management—learning how to avoid overspending on a participant’s plan was particularly useful. One of the biggest takeaways was confirming my concerns about the lack of regulation around NDIS planners. It was empowering to learn about the formal steps we can take—like submitting an S100 or requesting amendments—when planners don’t fulfill their responsibilities. I’ll be even more vigilant in reviewing new plans for errors, knowing that mistakes can and do happen. Sonia was a beacon of knowledge throughout the day. Her insights were clear, practical, and deeply appreciated. We ended with reflections and a focus on self-care, which was a beautiful way to close the session. Thank you for a meaningful and affirming experience.
