What will I learn?
Module 1: Industry Changes - Covering STR guidelines, stopping the "check-in calls", countering attempts to reduce SC funding, preparing for the transition to Ican Needs Assessments.
Module 2: Impairments - ensuring your Participants have more than just the single "required" Impairment listed.
Module 3: New Funding Periods - Understanding the impact of the new Funding Periods in your Participants Plan and how to challenge the automatic quarterly periods.
Module 4: Function Capacity Assessments - Gain a more extensive understanding of what needs to be in an FCA and what shouldn't be there. Incorrect FCAs are the primary reason for funding cuts, learn how to review FCAs and work with the Allied Health provider to prevent these cuts.
Module 5: Plan Variations, COC, Plan Reassessments - Are you finding that the applications you are submitting on behalf of Participants are often being turned down? This module covers the knowledge you to need to submit Plan Variations, Change of Circumstance Applications and Plan Reassessments that have the best chance of succeeding and obtaining that crucial funding so desperately needed. Learn how to write powerful, correctly worded applications using our specifically designed template (not just the little box in the NDIS form!)
Module 6: Parental Responsibility - Understanding the legislation and having the right evidence to challenge Planners.
Module 7: NDIS Vs Public Health System - Challenging the NDIS attitude of "No we wont fund Psychology..."
Module 8: Challenging Providers - At the core of our role, we are there to make sure our Participants are receiving Safe, Quality Supports, and to protect their funding. This training covers how you can best do this, what NDIS documentation you can use to "Guide" Providers to ensure they are doing the right thing by your Participants.
